For solo travelers and couples, the Treehouses and Microlodges are ideal. They are both well furnished and comfortable, easily accessible to the outdoor bathroom and common kitchen area.

2. The Old Forge Glamping, County Wicklow

Located in the Wicklow hills, The Old Forge Glamping is perfect for those looking for a quiet retreat close to nature, yet still accessible to modern comforts. 3. Knockrobin Glamping, Wicklow

A unique Wicklow Glamping spot located behind the glorious Tinakilly House Hotel, Knockrobin Glamping combines hotel comfort and off-grid relaxation. The glamping tent at Knockrobin has views of the gorgeous Wicklow countryside. From their deck at the glampsite, guests can even catch a glimpse of the Irish Sea.

Each glamping tent at Knockrobin has its own deck and small sitting area to enjoy the surrounding views. The well-insulated accommodation comes with a comfortable bed and beddings, and close access to toilets and bathrooms that are only a few steps from the tents.

4. Glendalough Glamping

Situated on a family farm and occupying 21 acres, Glendalough Glamping offers comfortable accommodations for those looking to experience this top Wicklow attraction.

The glamping site has some of the best views of Glendalough Valley as well as Wicklow Mountains National Park. It is also close to many attractions like the well-known Monastic Site with Round Tower as well as serene lakes and green valleys. 

Glendalough glamping pods are sturdy and compact and can sleep up to four persons. Each unit has the basics – a cozy double bed and sofa bed, and a small sitting area.

Each pod has a small patio, access to a fire pit, and within walking distance to the outhouse where the toilets and showers are, as well as a common kitchen and dining hall.

The area caters to those who want to relax, but activities like biking and hiking are also encouraged to see more of the county’s stunning scenery.

5. Hidden Valley Holiday Park 

A Wicklow glamping area that caters to couples and families on a getaway close to nature, Hidden Valley offers mini lodges with views of the Avonmore River.

The glamping units are located within the grounds of a holiday park, which offers various activities to keep guests entertained and to see more of its lush surroundings. Guests may explore the walking trails, or relax in idyllic picnic spots spread throughout the park. 

The glamping accommodations at Hidden Valley are called mini lodges, and each can accommodate up to five people. Each unit has two double beds, a single bed, lights, and a heater. There is a small kitchen with the basics like a fridge and a kettle, as well as a  picnic table.

Beddings are not provided so guests are advised to bring their own pillow and blankets. There is no en suite or a kitchen in the mini lodge, but these can be accessed just a few steps away from the unit.

Located within a ten-minute drive from Glendalough and with sweeping views of the Wicklow countryside, the Clissmann Horse Caravans offers a unique Wicklow glamping experience.

The fabulous yurts of residential resort and events place The Avon are only available during the summer months.

However, they are still worth trying as they are among the most luxurious Wicklow glamping one could experience. The yurts look more like hotel rooms than glamping accommodation. 

Each yurt has a bed, sitting area, small kitchen, and bathroom. Outside, there is a deck that looks out to the stunning Blessington Lakes.

Since the yurt is within the premises of The Avon, guests are guaranteed access to the dome of the resort’s finest restaurants and bars. The Avon Yurts are hands down, the best option for anyone who’s up for an ultimate glamping experience.
